# Directions:

01 - Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass. Dip rims in coarse salt or chili-salt blend. Set aside.

03 - Taste the mix; adjust sweetness and spice by adding more agave or jalapeño as desired.
04 - Fill glasses with ice cubes. Strain the watermelon mixture through a fine mesh sieve (optional, for a smoother texture) and pour over the ice.
05 - Garnish with lime wedges, jalapeño slices, and watermelon pieces. Serve immediately.

# Expert Advice:

  • The whole drink comes together in minutes, yet tastes like something you'd order at a beachside bar.
  • The jalapeño lets you control the heat, so each sip can be as mellow or adventurous as you want.
02 -
  • Blending with the jalapeño seeds left in made one batch nearly undrinkable—always chop and taste as you go.
  • Straining the juice is worth it if you want that extra-smooth, cocktail-bar finish.
03 -
  • Push the watermelon mixture through a fine mesh sieve for ultimate smoothness and elegance.
